Obviously we humans love the nail art and polishes that make our fingernails look great. But is it appropriate for dogs? Doggie nail polish is apparently becoming more and more popular. Here are pics of some cute canines that have had their nails done. What do you think? Should dogs wear nail polish?

OPI has released two of its new Holiday 2013 gift sets for women, Take Ten and Top This! The Take Ten Collection has a miniature sampling of ten of OPI’s best selling winter-themed colors ranging from smooth sheer tones (Pirouette My Whistle, You Don’t Know Jacques!) to luscious reds (Cajun Shrimp, Big Apple Red, German-icure). The pure White Alpine Snow polish shines in this collection or can be added on top of the pink, playful Bubble Bath or Tickle My France-y for a feminine French Manicure. Each bottle is equipped with a mini version of the ProWide brush for controlled, neat application.
The OPI Top This! gift set features three essential lacquers to layer to create a perfect manicure with: Top Coat, Matte Top Coat, and Snowflakes In The Air. In our recent article on nail trends for Summer 2013, we highlighted several popular styles and one color in particular: orange. Well, in the last couple of weeks, another color has shown its popularity, especially among celebrities, and that would be blue. And in many cases, the bolder the blue, the better.
The Glamour beauty blog identified three celebs who have been seen in blue nails recently: Kat Dennings, Angela Simmons, and Bella Thorne. They’ve been seen on various red carpets with hues of blue on their fingers and toes. If you’re looking for a shade of blue to try yourself, take a peek at the new OPI Dining Al Frisco, part of OPI’s San Francisco collection for Fall/Winter 2013.
While many nail polish looks this summer feature bright colors, there is another style that many women are embracing: the look of neutral, nude, or sheer nails (see #7 on our list of summer nail trends). The great thing about this “bare” look is that they go with pretty much any outfit, but it is important to get the right shade to match your skin tone.
Babble.com offers some advice on picking the right nude nail polish. Some pointers include choosing a shade with undertones that are pink or cream, avoiding anything too tan or brown, and wearing a polish that is thick enough to hide the whites of your nail tips with a maximum of two or three coats. Check out the rest of the article to see some suggested polishes that include OPI’s Bubble Bath.
